CUSTOM GLASS
The process of making a stained glass window begins with the consultation with our artist to determine what is the desired end product. A few questions and sometimes a quick sketch will begin this.

Next typically with a rough size estimate of the project we can give a range of costs and from here we can proceed to schedule for getting all the measurements we may need to start a drawing.

A full size drawing is then completed for your approval and glass is picked out - again with the expertise we can offer many years of knowledge of types of glass available to fit your need.

The glass is then cut to the patterns and ready for assembly.

Using lead caming we construct the window, solder all joints and proceed to cement or putty the window. This will strengthen and weatherproof the glass as well as helping to clean and darken the lead.

Finally the window is delivered and installed and ready for many years of enjoyments. Etched glass is done by beginning the same process above. When the full size drawing is finished it is transferred to a resist that is applied to the glass. At that point it is sandblasted to create the frosted look. It is then ready to install.
